Beginning May 16th we will be open:

Monday through Friday – 8am to 8pm (10am to 6pm for non-members)

Saturday – 10am to 6pm (11am to 5pm for non-members)

Sunday – 12noon to 5pm (1pm to 4pm for non-members)

SWIMMING LESSONS

May 23rd – July 30th

$125 for 6- 1hour sessions (private lessons)

Dance Classes for all Ages

The Marsha Barbour Community Center will be offering dance classes for all ages .

Mom and Me Rhythm and Dance

A fitness class for you and your little ones that is fun AND educational! This is a four week program that explores a different cultural dance every 2 weeks. Great for stay at home parents, care givers or those involved with home school too! Open to boys and girls ages 3-6 and their guardian.

When: every Tuesday

Time: 10:30-11:15 a.m.

Cost: $5 / 1st child, $7/ more than 2 children

** Pre-registration required (call Center to pre-register)

Women’s Beginning Belly Dance

This is a 6 week program that welcomes women of all ages who want to celebrate or rediscover their femininity. Mature teens are welcome with or without their mom.

When: every Monday

Time: 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Cost: $30/month – or $10 drop-in rate (Discount given for members)

*Please bring your own towel, blanket, or yoga mat. Wear comfortable, non-restrictive, clothing. ** Pre-registration required** Contact Shawn at 228-216-3606

Ballroom Dance

Learn from our talented and entuisiastic, Andrew Sanders. Join us as we learn the steps to east coast swing, the two step, and many more!

When: every Wednesday

Time: 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Cost: FREE

*hardsole shoes recomended but not required.

Zumba

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday - 7pm to 8pm

Cost: $5 per class

Come try this high-enery, fun, Latin dance-based, calorie -burning, cardio workout.

Computer Basics

Wednesdays

Time: 4-5pm

Cost: Free

This class will teach basic interactions with your computer.

These classes are specifically designed for individuals over the age of 50, but all are invited!

The classes are fun, interactive, and begin with the basics.

Classes are limited in size, so register by calling the center.

Water Aerobics

Monday, Wednesday & Friday- Beginning May 2nd

Time: 9:30am-10:30m

Cost: Free (Members) $3 (Non-Members)

May possibly offer evening classes if there is a large demand.

2011-12 After School Program!

We’re excited to announce our new after-school enrichment program!

We’ll be offering sports and recreation opportunities, swimming, homework help, computer skills, and health and nutrition programs.

Begins August 4th, for grades K-8, Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Cost: $35 per week for nonmembers, $25 a week for members. **$25 Registration Fee
